So Finland was a good trip and the third weekend of the year I think it was the third and yeah got up very early and we went to Helsinki getting up at 3 30 a.m. flying via Riga landing quite early it was a beautiful sunny day on January the 18th which was surprising and walked around a bit got a brilliant brunch with some of the best salmon ever and cream cheese and bread and coffee walked around a bit got some gifts got the fuck out of Helsinki took a bus to a quaint town even though it's classed as a city the 19th biggest city called Porvoo P-O-R-V-O-O which is wooden houses wooden colorful houses it's touted to be a UNESCO protected zone in the future that was nice there's still some snow it was quite slippy just walked around took some nice photographs you know just vibed had to finish sauna privately an hour wasn't really enough could have done with a second hour went out in the evening tried to find the desired restaurant but it was full so instead found a great bistro Patience is the name of the game the next day the Sunday was kind of long with a lot of travel probably seven eight hours in total but it was a pleasant day still just being on the road being in the air being with each other and it was definitely worth it I think Helsinki is okay it's worth a shot some time to see more there but it was good to get out experience something more quaint so all in all a good weekend take that blog you fucking cunt

Turned 42 recently. Didn't end up making it to Iceland as Play Airlines went bankruptcy. Went to Madrid insteady as a Plan B. Feb the Feb the Feb so far

So, February has been a very, I don't know how to put it, dramatic and big month so far. We're two weeks in, it's currently Valentine's Day as I say this message in Vilnius, snowing, beautiful. And yeah, what's happened so far, I've been to a BBC event, World Questions, at the start of the month. Had some wine, got drunk quickly, shouldn't have happened but it's okay. Worked pretty well, work has been going well, apart from a slew of crazy incidents going on. The whole team's falling apart, lots of bitching going on. Basically just crazy behavior. Lots of articles have been deleted without the journalist's consent. There's a toxic couple of personalities going on in the office and it's just not really the best situation. All I want to do is see out the next week and complete my probation, I really hope it happens. No guarantees ever, you know, but I think it's okay. First week of Dec

What a fucking week. Got back from Vietnam on Monday. Absolutely jet-lagged — like singed hair that’s just been burned. Slept it off pretty well, had a light day, loads of sleep, loads of stodgy food. Honestly can’t even remember half of it, but it took a few days to level up again. Stress has been way lower this week. Each day’s had small wins — little dopamine boosts. Tuesday was good: back at work, knocked out the articles I needed to write, and got a gold-style reply. Felt like a proper win. Wednesday was the real struggle. Had the interview for the existential therapy degree at Middlesex, and it brought some stumbling blocks — technical glitches, awkward moments, and then the kicker: the start date being September next year instead of January. Glad I’d put three irons in the fire and researched other programmes. Ended up just paying and committing to St Mary’s for January. Feel great about that.
